EU27 to give their go-ahead to talks on Swift and on continuation of SIS II during Friday's Justice and Home Affairs Council

Brussels, 22/04/2010 (Agence Europe) - European home affairs ministers, who will be meeting on Friday 23 April in Brussels, are expected to adopt a negotiating mandate with a view to concluding an agreement with the United States on the transfer of banking data for counter terrorism purposes. During this meeting, the decision will also be taken to continue development of the second generation Schengen Information System (SIS II). The Justice and Home Affairs Council will meet for one day...
