Eurocontrol says virtually all flights back to normal

Brussels, 22/04/2010 (Agence Europe) - In a press release published on Thursday 22 April, the European Air Traffic and Safety Organisation (Eurocontrol) confirmed that it expected air travel to return to normal in Europe that same day. Between 28,000 and 29,000 flights, the normal number of flights in European airspace each day, are expected to fly on Thursday, ending a period of severe disruption of air travel in Europe such as never before witnessed (see EUROPE 10122).
