Brussels, 23/03/2010 (Agence Europe) - Google has not infringed trade mark law by allowing advertisers to purchase keywords corresponding to their competitors' trade marks, states a ruling of the EU Court of Justice in a case (C-236/08 to C-238/08) opposing the internet giant, Google, and Louis Vuitton. European justice rules partially in favour of Google in a case of litigation between mark owners, such as Louis Vuitton, that reproach it for opening its doors to counterfeiting. The European...
