Brussels, 12/11/2009 (Agence Europe) - Compared with August 2009, industrial production grew by 0.3% in the euro area and by 0.2% in the EU27 in September 2009. Production in August increased by 1.2% and 0.8% respectively. In September 2009, compared with September 2008, industrial production declined by 12.9% in the euro area and by 12.1% in the EU27, according to information published by Eurostat on Thursday 12 November.
