27/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 27 October, the European Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of sole control of BVT Surface Fleet Limited (BVT) of the UK by BAE Systems plc, also of the UK. BAE Systems provides combat systems of all types. BVT provides surface warships, principally as a partner for the UK Ministry of Defence.
