On 25 May, the European Union strongly condemn the terrorist attack that targeted a restaurant in Djibouti on Saturday 24 May. “Our thoughts are with all the victims and their families, and we wish a full and speedy recovery to those injured, including several members of the EU missions EUCAP Nestor and EUNAVFOR Atalanta. Such attacks against innocent people can never be justified”, said a press release published by the European External Action Service (EEAS). The EU reaffirms its support to strengthening the security sector and rule of law on the land and the sea. (AN)
