Citizens and development at heart of European Development Days in Stockholm from 22 to 24 October

Brussels, 14/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - European Development Days (EDD) jointly organised by the European Commission and the Swedish Presidency are taking place in Stockholm from 22 to 24 October. “Citizenship and Development” is the theme of this fourth edition of an event that is now well in its stride. Some 5,000 participants from 125 countries are expected at this international discussion and public awareness forum on European development policy and its immediate and long term stakes....
