Brussels, 14/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - In August 2009, seasonally adjusted industrial production grew by 0.9% in the euro area and by 0.6% in the EU27 compared with July 2009, when it increased by 0.2% and 0.3% respectively. Compared with August 2008, industrial production fell by 15.4% in the euro area and by 13.5% in the EU27, estimates released by Eurostat on Wednesday 154 October reveal.
