06/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - According to La Tribune, Anne Marie Idrac suggested on 30 September that Doha negotiations had not started well if they were to conclude the Round in 2010. The French secretary of state for trade spoke, in particular, of the “overcautiousness” of the United States, where dwindling support for liberalisation is turning to forms of protectionism, and also of “economic nationalism” which she puts down to “political reasons”.
