Commission approves French short-term loan guarantee scheme for exports

Brussels, 06/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 6 October 2009, the European Commission authorised a measure taken by France to support export companies in the credit crunch by helping struggling companies find loan guarantees for short-term exports, which can be difficult to access on the market at the moment. The notified state aid scheme, known as “CAP Export”, would allow the French government to provide export loan guarantees through the specialist CO FACE agency. The Commission...
