21/09/2009 (Agence Europe) - The German MEP Ulrike Lunacek (Greens), rapporteur of the European Parliament on Kosovo, will visit Pristina this week for talks with the Kosovar leaders and representatives of the Serbian minority. She will also meet the head of the EULEX mission, Yves de Kermabon, and the head of the EU representation to Kosovo, Pieter Feith. Preparations for the communal elections, which are scheduled 15 November, will be one of the topics of discussion. "I am in favour of the Serbian Kosovars taking part in these elections, even if Belgrade is opposed to this", she said in a press release published on 21 September. (H.B./trans.fl)
