Strasbourg, 15/09/2009 (Agence Europe) - Speaking before the European Parliament on the afternoon of Tuesday 15 September, candidate Barroso pledged to do a certain number of things. Just before Wednesday's vote on his reappointment for a five-year term of office, he received the support of the EPP, ALDE and ECR groups, while the Left, which remains divided, is expected in principle to abstain or vote against a renewed term.
