Moves towards agreement on Swiss participation in “youth in action” and “education and lifelong learning” programmes

Brussels, 10/09/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 8 September, the European Commission presented the Council of Ministers of the EU with a draft directive on the signing and provisional application of an agreement between the European Commission and the Swiss Confederation, establishing the terms and conditions for the participation of Switzerland in the “Youth in Action” programme and in the action programme in the field of lifelong learning (2007-13).
