Ban on trade in seal products will deprive European patients of breakthrough treatments, says Fur Institute of Canada

Brussels, 31/07/2009 (Agence Europe) - According to the Fur Institute of Canada, the European regulation fully banning trade in seal products, which Ottawa intends to refer to the WTO, will threaten more than the livelihoods of native communities that live from traditional seal hunting (see EUROPE 9950).
