Brussels, 31/07/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 27 July, the Council of the EU approved the signing, on behalf of the European Community, and the provisional application of the agreement establishing a framework for an economic partnership agreement (EPA) between the EU and the countries of the East African Community: Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya, the only state in the region not to feature among the least developed countries.
