Brussels, 28/07/2009 (Agence Europe) - The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), which has been a candidate country since December 2005, has every hope that the EU will give its go-ahead to the opening of membership talks by the end of this year. To this end, the country is determined to meet the latest benchmarks by October, when the European Commission publishes its next progress report.
