Loan for Belgian small businesses in partnership with BNP Paribas Fortis

Brussels, 28/07/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 28 July, the European Investment Bank (EIB) and BNP Paribas Fortis concluded a partnership agreement on a €150 million new-generation EIB loan for Belgian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Branches of the Fortis network will act as the financial intermediaries for the EIB funds, passing them on as loans to small and medium-sized enterprises to support their investment projects.
