28/07/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 24 July, the European Investment Bank (EIB) awarded a €500 million loan to Italian company Finmeccanica SpA for the production and development of technologically innovative aeronautical components. The loan will underpin the important industrial role played by Finmeccanica in Italy's southern regions. (O.L./transl.rt)
