Brussels, 23/06/2009 (Agence Europe) - Over lunch in Luxembourg on Monday 22 June, EU agriculture ministers discussed the milk crisis, but without announcing any new measures. Ministers put forward various ideas to remedy the situation, most of which were deemed unacceptable by the Commission which believes that it has used all the instruments at its disposal (intervention, refunds, early payment of aid, private storage, the agriculture chapter of the recovery plan, etc).
