Brussels, 23/06/2009 (Agence Europe) - During a press conference organised by The International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), on Tuesday 23 June 2009, Shirin Ebadi of Iran, 2003 Nobel Prizewinner and member of the centre for the defence of human rights in Teheran, called on the international community not to ignore the situation in Iran. “New elections must be organised, under the supervision of international organisations, including the UN”, he said.
