Brussels, 11/05/2009 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is optimistic that the change of government which took place in the Czech Republic on 8 May - when the new “expert government” headed by Jan Fischer took over from Mirek Topolánek's centre-right coalition - will not have an adverse effect on the rest of the Czech EU Presidency until its end on 30 June. “The Commission is confident that the Czech Republic, and in particular its government, will do their utmost to continue...
