08/05/2009 (Agence Europe) - Eric Dautriat was appointed executive director of the Joint Technology Initiative Clean Sky on Monday 4 May 2009 to develop new aviation technologies to help the EU meet its carbon dioxide emissions reduction targets (see Europe 9595 and 9445). Previously, Eric Dautriat was 'Director of Launchers' at the French National Centre for Space Research, CNES, and vice-president in change of quality for aerospace at defence group Safran. (A. By)
