Brussels, 23/04/2009 (Agence Europe) - Italian Home Affairs Minister Roberto Maroni has sent a report to the European Commission stating that Malta has, over the past few years, effectively sent 40,000 would-be immigrants to Italy by not participating in their rescue, according to the Corriere della Sera of 21 April.
