23/04/2009 (Agence Europe) - Consumer Protection Commissioner Meglena Kuneva has also been given permission by President José Manuel Barroso to take leave from her post with effect from 18 May to campaign for election in June's European elections in Bulgaria. For the three weeks of campaigning, her portfolio will be handled by Cypriot Commissioner Androulla Vassiliou.
