06/04/2009 (Agence Europe) - Recently designated to the post of NATO Secretary General (to replace Jaap de Hoop Scheffer on 31 July), Anders Fogh Rasmussen resigned from his post as Danish prime minister on Sunday 5 April. He was immediately replaced by his former finance minister bearing the same name, Lars Loeke Rasmussen.
