Brussels, 11/03/2009 (Agence Europe) - In Strasbourg on Wednesday 11 March, the European Parliament voted by 609 votes to 60, with 27 abstentions to adopt the report by Jan Andersson (PES, Sweden) on guidelines for the employment policies of the member states. The EP thus gave its view that a coordinated European approach and rigorous implementation of the guidelines were required to tackle the economic crisis.
