Prague, 06/03/2009 (Agence Europe) - On the second and last day of a summit of European cities and regions in Prague on Friday 6 March 2009, the president of the Committee of the Regions (CoR), Luc Van den Brande, said the European Union had to demonstrate that it was a real union with a real mission. The issues discussed at the CoR summit were incorporated in a message for the European Council of 19-20 March, which can be summarised as a call for a new, more powerful, partnership.
