Announcement of resumption of meetings between parliamentarians causes confusion among Arab countries

Brussels, 20/02/2009 (Agence Europe) - The EuroMed Parliamentary Assembly (EMPA) is to resume after the cessation of its activities immediately after the invasion of Gaza, with the group of Arab parliamentarians withdrawing from all meetings. First on the timetable is a meeting of an EMPA ad hoc committee on energy and the environment.
