09/02/2009 (Agence Europe) - On 2 February, the European Commission adopted the second preliminary draft amending budget for the year 2009 which covers very technical points which have no financial consequences: - the inclusion in the Community budget of the establishment plan of the SESAR Joint Undertaking; - amendments to the establishment plan of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC); - amendments to the establishment plan of the European Railway Agency (ERA). The first preliminary draft amending budget for 2009 (presented on 23 January) relates to assistance worth €11.8 million from the European Union Solidarity Fund, following the floods which affected Romania.
