09/02/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Monday in February, the Commission gave its blessing to two joint ventures. The first consists of the creation, by the Slovakian Doprastav a.s. (controlled by the DDM group) and Czech companies Ceskomoravsky beton a.s. (owned by the Heidelberg Cement Group), of a new entity to be named TBG Doprastav, which will produce and sell pre-mixed concrete. The Commission agreed to the creation of a joint enterprise between Costa Crociere S.p.A. (Italy) and MSC Crociere S.A. (Switzerland), both of which manage cruise vessels. The joint company will be tasked with the management of a port cruise terminal in Marseille (France). Both these dossiers were examined under the simplified procedure. (C.D./trans.fl)
