Brussels, 15/01/2009 (Agence Europe) - In a declaration made on Wednesday 14 January in Brussels, the president of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), Mario Sepi, backed the support, given by the assembly he presides, for efforts made by the European Commission and European Parliament to get Israeli attacks in Gaza to cease and provide unimpeded humanitarian aid to the population.
