Brussels, 08/01/2009 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament will be meeting in Strasbourg on 12-15 January for its first plenary session of 2009. This week is marked by the presentation of the Czech Presidency's priorities for the next six months and the follow-up to the two current crises: the Russian-Ukrainian gas dispute and the Israeli military offensive in Gaza. MEPs will also be celebrating 10 years of the single currency.
