Next week's debates to focus on European Council, French Presidency and climate/energy problem

Brussels, 11/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - Debates at the European Parliament will focus on the results of the European Council and the achievements of the French EU Presidency. The EP will be meeting in plenary session from Monday 15 December until Thursday 18 December, in Strasbourg. Also, on Tuesday afternoon, MEPs will hold a far-reaching legislative debate on the climate/energy issue, one of the major themes of the European Council of 11 and 12 December.
