Piebalgs takes firm line in new Russia-Ukraine gas dispute

Brussels, 11/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 10 December, the European Commission said it had held talks with representatives of Russian gas producer Gazprom and the Ukrainian government to ask them to ensure that their latest trade dispute will not affect supplies of Russian gas to the Community market.
