Statement of objections sent to manufacturers of power transformers suspected of participation in cartel

Brussels, 11/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 11 December, the European Commission confirmed it had sent a statement of objections to a number of producers of power transformers concerning their alleged participation in a cartel. According to the Thomson information agency, the groups concerned include the Swiss group ABB and Japanese Toshiba Corp.
