Commission unveils legislation to tackle illegal logging and deforestation in the interest of the climate and developing countries

Brussels, 17/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - On 17 October 2008, the European Commission unveiled two initiatives for the European Union take action to protect forests globally, tackle deforestation and the sale of illegally logged wood and timber products in the EU.
