Two acquisitions given go-ahead

Brussels, 14/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - On 13 October 2008, the European Commission cleared the acquisition of Germany's Megapharm GmbH Pharmazeutische Erzeugnisse of Germany, cancer treatment products wholesaler, by the UK's Alliance Boots Holdings Ltd, a wholesale pharma market specialist and healthcare and beauty products retailer.
