14/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - On the initiative of the European Parliament and with the backing of the organisation European Youth Press, 200 young journalists from across the EU will meet in Brussels on 15-17 October 2008 for the European Youth Media Days of debate and interviews with high-ranking figures. This is the second European Youth Media Days and highlights the need for the media to cross national borders and create an EU public and political arena. With this in mind, the participants will have the opportunity to hold discussions with the EP President Hans-Gert Pöttering, spokespeople from political fractions and European correspondents.
