Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs buy up Befraco

Brussels, 14/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 14 October 2008, the European Commission decided to grant clearance to the planned acquisition by purchase of shares of joint control of Beheer- en Beleggingsmaatschappij Befraco BV (Befraco, The Netherlands) by The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc, (Goldman Sachs, United States) and Deutsche Bank AG of Germany. The Commission received notification of the deal on 10 September 2008.
