14/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's Budgets Committee is recommending that the EP approve the earmarking of €10.77 million for 2008 in the European Globalisation Fund (see EUROPE 9738) to help people who have lost their jobs in Spain (€10.47 million) and Lithuania (€298,994). The workers in Spain have lost their jobs at Delphi Automotive Systems España and in Lithuania, the redundancies are in the textile industry, where the Alytaus Tekstilë company has gone bust....
