“Best Idea for Red Tape Reduction Award” launched

Brussels, 16/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - The competition to find the “Best Idea for Red Tape Reduction” will be officially launched in Brussels on Thursday 18 September by Dr Edmund Stoiber, who chairs the High Level Group of Independent Stakeholders on Administrative Burdens. The award of the prize will reward innovative suggestions on ways to reduce superfluous administrative formalities that result from Community legislation.
