16/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 16 September, the European Commission granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control, through stock options of the Laupheim manufacturing site belonging to Airbus Deutschland GmbH by Diehl Stiftung & Co. KG (Diehl) of Germany and Thales, SA of France. Diehl is active in defence and aero systems. Thales is active in aerospace, defence and security markets.
