Brussels, 16/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - At a meeting in Brussels on Wednesday 16 July 2008 chaired by Anna Zaborska (EPP-ED, Slovakia), the European Parliament's Women's Rights and Equal Opportunities Committee adopted virtually unanimously the own initiative report of Iratxe Garcia Perez (PES, Spain) on equality between men and women in 2008, the first such report to cover the whole of the EU27.
