16/07/2008 (Agence Europe) -After the death of a Dutch woman who contracted Marburg fever following a trip to Uganda and a visit to caves in the forest of Maramagambo, where she came into contact with megachiropters (giant bats), the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) has called upon travellers to avoid all contact with these animals, which carry the deadly haemorrhagic virus.
