Brussels, 16/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - The EU member state fishing ministers adopted by a qualified majority on Tuesday 15 July 2008 a regulation adjusting the fisheries partnership agreement between the EU and Mauritania. The new protocol covers the period from 1 August 2008 to 31 July 2012 and this timely adoption of the regulation will mean that EU fishermen will not have to stop fishing in the region.
