06/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 11 June, the Commission will take a stance on Belgium's stability programme and Poland's convergence programme (for which despatch and analysis had been delayed due to the formation of new governments). As indicated earlier, the College of Commissioners will also decide to repeal excessive deficit procedure against Warsaw. The deficit there has been brought down to 2.6% of GDP in 2007 and probably 2.2% in 2008 - against 3.9% in 2006. (EUROPE 9652)....
