18/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Social Fund (ESF) will be investing 28.8 million in 2007-2013 in the region of Brussels-Capital in Belgium, compared with investment of €24 million in 2000-2007. Brussels-Capital's new programme will focus on active job-seeking and advice for job-seekers, the employment of women (increasing childcare facilities and opening new crèches) and tackling the uneven playing field on the jobs market for young people and foreigners.
