Brussels, 18/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 18 April, the Commission gave the green light to three acquisitions. The undertakings Colony Investors VII L.P. and Colyzeo Investors L.P. (both UK-based), controlled by the Colony Capital group (USA) and Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc, belonging to the Morgan Stanley group (USA) will acquire joint control of Colfilm SAS (France), the holding company of Paris Saint-Germain Football SA and related sports activities. The second concentration approved is the acquisition of sole control of SITA Sverige AB (Sweden) by Suez Environnement (France), which currently jointly controls SITA with E.ON Sverige AB. Both parties to the operation are active in waste management. Finally, renewables company Pirelli & C. Ambiente Renewable Energy S.p.A. (PARE) and energy company Acea have received clearance from the Commission for their proposed joint venture which will produce CDR-Q, a combustible derived from high quality waste.
