01/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - Finnish MEP Alexander Stubb (EPP-ED) was appointed his country's new foreign minister on Tuesday. He succeeds Ilkka Kanerva who was compelled to resign after an affair involving an SMS sent to a striptease artist. Mr Stubb will also replace Mr Kanerva at the rotating presidency of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). (H.B.)
