Brussels, 07/03/2008 (Agence Europe) - All of the texts of the Climate/Energy legislative package now have their rapporteur at the Parliament (EUROPE 9607). Within the committee on the environment, the dossiers have been allocated to: Avril Doyle (EPP-ED, Ireland), who is competent on the proposed directive revising the emissions trading system (ETS), Satu Hassi (Greens/EFA, Finland) for the proposed directive on ceilings differentiated per Member State for non-ETS sectors, Guido Sacconi (PES, Italy), on the proposed regulation “reduction of CO2 emissions from private cars and light utility vehicles” and Matthias Groote (PES, Germany), for the proposed directive on fuel quality.
